Halcyon Festivals was established by David Heartfield, creator of Rewind Festival, in 2017 to create a celebration of the music of the 90s.

Its first major event, Cool Britannia, was staged at Knebworth – the venue behind some of the biggest music events in UK history – in 2018 and the event returned to Knebworth again in 2019. It has seen performances from the likes of James, The Happy Mondays, Gabrielle and Embrace.

The company is now exploring new ways to expand its reach across the UK.
